The hiking trail provides more available reaching to the famous destination – Cape “Maslen nos” near the town of Primorsko, Bulgaria. The Cape was an ancient harbour, a navigation marker for sailors and a beacon for centuries. At present – it is an exotic beach with waters rich in fish and the presence of remarkable rock formations resembling fjords. In addition, there is also an excellent panoramic view of the wild shores of the southern side of the Ropotamo Reserve.
The trail starts from the Thracian sanctuary Beglik Tash passes through scenic forest road and reach the wild Bay St. Paraskeva, that was an ancient port and later served as a hideout of pirates in the Middle Ages.
This path is the most scenic trail around the area of Ropotamo Reserve, near the town of Primorsko, Bulgaria. It provides the opportunity to see objects of archaeological importance and to enjoy the beautiful forest scenery, sea and rock formations.
Beglik Tash is a complex of high cliffs groups, each with a different role, served for the ancient Thracian rituals at sunrise. It is near Primorsko, Bulgaria. Besides its history and attractive rocks, the place is exciting to tourists because it offers a couple of hiking trails. To get to the ancient Thracian cliffs Beglik Tash, firstly, you have to go into the town of Primorsko. After that, you have to pass along North Beach of Primorsko and “Perla” Residence. Continue on the asphalt road through the forest. Further, you will reach an exit, where is a large sign reading “Бегликташ” and barrier.
