Varvara village: Black Sea exotics on the beach

The beautiful beach of Varvara village – with its green slopes decoration, its reefs enclosing it at the southern end, together with its clear waters and tranquillity, unlike the noisy resorts. The beach could instead be called an exotic oasis and paradise and one of the most lovely beaches on the South Black Sea Coast. It is also popular with the name “Wake Up Varvara” because of the bar located here, with its thatched umbrellas and cocktails, which fits perfectly into this picture.

The Varvara’s beach (famous as “Wake Up Varvara”) lays in a small hospitable bay and could reach it by a dirt road. In case you come from the regional city Burgas, just after the entrance of the village Varvara, turn left. After around 800 m will reach a grassy area high above the sea where you can park. Diving on Varvara’s Beach

The visibility in the waters is excellent for the Black Sea, and they are also rich in fish. So without expensive diving equipment, only with snorkel, mask, and fins, you can spend hours enjoying the underwater landscape. Besides, there are many reefs and rocky fissures at shallow depths that give shelter to marine inhabitants. Indeed, it can get an idea about it from the amateur video we shot on one of our beach visits.
