Cape Emine – the northern end of Burgas Bay

Cape Emine is the northernmost point of the Burgas Bay and can be seen from far away from some of the cities located in it – Pomorie, Nessebar, Sozopol, Chernomorets. Besides, the Cape is a navigation marker for sailors and fishing boats. In this regard, there is a lighthouse at its very end.

Beside Emine is part of the Balkan Mountains and a place where the mountain meets the sea. Because of this, the shores here are incredibly steep – 60 meters above sea level. The site is mostly visited by vacationers who came to to the nearby beach of Irakli, as well as by hikers, passing the 600 km long mountain hiking trail from Kom peak (near Berkovitsa, West Bulgaria). Access to Cape Emine is difficult and requires either a high-speed car or a pedestrian crossing (at least 7 km).

Irakli Beach – spacious and inviting, shrouded in a forest mantle

Irakli Beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the Bulgarian South Black Sea Coast with its excellent natural features.

Most of the beach is entirely wild, surrounded by thick forest, which attracts fens of direct contact with nature. Because of its popularity, Irakli has become a symbol of escape from the urban lifestyle. Both campers and guests of the nearby big resorts – Obzor and St. Vlas visit it, for diversifying their holidays at sea.

Sozopol: The “Chauffeurs’ Beach” in the Alepu area

The “Chauffeurs’ Beach” is one of the most famous and attractive wild beaches on the South Black Sea coast. It is easy to access and is 37 km away from Bourgas city. Because the beach is spacious, long and not crowded, it is an excellent place for those who want quiet tranquillity on the beach. Besides, it is close to the natural landmark “Alepu Swamp” and is also popular with the name “Alepu Beach”.

Sozopol – the city of salvation from the monotony

Sozopol is the oldest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. It has a unique architectural appearance, and there are many historical sites on its territory that worth a visit. Besides cultural tourism, the town offers excellent opportunities for sea holidays, sports and entertainment as there are beautiful beaches here. Around the city, there are also natural attractions that you could explore. Annually, at the end of each summer, the Apolonia Arts Festival takes place here, which is, of course, an additional entertainment for tourists – music, theatre, cinema, ballet, architecture, plastic arts. Nessebar – an ancient seaside town

Nessebar is attractive to tourists with its excellent opportunities for a holiday at sea and its remarkable old atmosphere. It consists of two parts – the “New” City, where are the spacious beach and hotels, and the “Old” City, which has an abundance of old buildings. The buildings are of different ages, with the oldest being more than 1500 years old. Despite their age, they are in good condition, therefore Nessebar entered in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In addition, the old town has attractive geographical features – built on a broad peninsula with steep banks, connected to the land by an isthmus.

Sinemorets – a paradise for relaxing at sea and adventures.

Sinemorets resort has excellent conditions for recreation at sea combined with opportunities for tourist walks around beautiful nature. Primorsko in Bulgaria – information, landmarks and beaches.

The town of Primorsko, Bulgaria is a large Black sea resort and has superb qualities for sea holiday combined with a lot of fun. Hiking trail from the thracian cliffs “Beglik Tash” to the Cape “Maslen Nos”

The hiking trail provides more available reaching to the famous destination – Cape “Maslen nos” near the town of Primorsko, Bulgaria. The Cape was an ancient harbour, a navigation marker for sailors and a beacon for centuries. At present – it is an exotic beach with waters rich in fish and the presence of remarkable rock formations resembling fjords. In addition, there is also an excellent panoramic view of the wild shores of the southern side of the Ropotamo Reserve.
